Place Value in Second Grade

Recently, students in second grade have spent time exploring place value with numbers up to 1,000 in math and learning about the roles of the U.S. government and different symbols that represent U.S. history in social studies. They combined their learning activities from math and social studies to create Place Value White Houses. The students were able to use what they have learned with place value to create parts of the U.S. White House. The students had so much fun and were very proud of their end projects.

  1. I love this project and it would fit lovely in conjunction with the election. Do you have templates on Teachers pay Teachers?
